Happy 5 Year Anniversary to us!

Ted and I went to Sedona for the weekend...yes without kids!!! We stayed at a very nice hotel with incredible views. (The top picture is from our hotel room.) We had a very nice and relaxing mini vacation. I was pleasantly surprised with the little "tricks" Ted had up his sleeve. For example, as we were checking in the concierge looks at me and asks, "So what kind of massage would you like for your 10:00 appointment tomorrow?" At first I thought he was trying to sell us a massage...then I looked at Ted and he was looking at me also waiting for an answer to the very nice man's question. So I picked the Hot Stones Massage. I figured I've never had one of those before, so why not try it out. (By the way, it was really nice. I would recommend it to anyone!)Then we got into our hotel room and started to settle in, when the door knocks and we hear, "Room service!" Ted opens the door and they brought in a very nice bottle of Champagne. After they left, I looked at Ted thinking, WOW what another very nice surprise...He's not leaving any thing out of this romantic vacation! Then Ted looked at me and said, "WOW! I didn't even plan that one!" (He could have fooled me!)

We hiked around Bell Rock. It was so beautiful! They say the energy vortex is the strongest at Bell Rock.... I have no idea how to feel the vortex, but non-the-less it was breathtaking and the weather was PERFECT!

We had our "Anniversary dinner" at Rene at Telaquepaque (I know I spelled that wrong). It was without a doubt one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. We had a lobster mushroom appetizer that I still crave at least 3 times a day. Ted had the duck and I had the fillet (of course...I never stray from the fillet!) The presentation was awesome, and it tasted even better than it looked! They also had the best rolls we've ever had by far....rolls are very important to us!

The restaurant also surprised us with this gorgeous chocolate cake and a beautiful white rose for me to take home :)

....And that is all I can tell you about our anniversary weekend :)
