Cadance is tickling Jenna. Jenna is starting to be a real giggler!

She is showing us her two teeth!!

Cadie and Jenna playing.

That's right! Jenna is already 10 months old! I can't believe how fast time is flying by. I can remember last year at this time, getting everything ready at school for my Holiday lessons, and feeling really tired. Well, I still feel tired!! I have a feeling I will be tired for a while longer...
It has been really fun to watch Cadance and Jenna interact. Jenna is very curious of what Cadance does, and she likes to steal Cadie's toys! When Cadie steals Jenna's toys, she will get mad and scream at her! Since Jenna is more mobile now, she and Cadie are starting to play a lot more. She has mastered crawling (she's quite fast!!!) Cadie loves playing with Jenna as well. Cadie will hide in her room, and Jenna will crawl down the hallway and find her! It's so cute. She is also starting to dance to music. They could stay in Cadie's room and dance for hours if I let them!
I took Jenna to the Doctor for a ten month check up. She is doing great. She eating some table food now (green beans, mashed potatoes, yogurt, Cheerios) She is starting to make some sounds like ma ma ma, ba ba ba, and da da da (although she says ma ma ma a lot more!!) Her growth has slowed down just a bit since the last appointment. She has always been in the 75-90% for her height and weight, now she is at the 50th for both. She is 19 pounds and 28 1/2 inches tall. The Dr. says she has slowed down because she's a lot more active now. She is also going through some separation anxiety the past couple of days. She wakes up a couple times at night wanting to be cuddled and hugged. I must say, I love cuddling her (I could do it all day long!!) but getting up so much at night makes for a tired Mommy (and teacher!!). My only concern with her is her feet. Jenna's feet turn out REALLY far! They almost turn all the way backwards! The Dr. says they should correct themselves as she starts to walk on them more. Well if they don't, I guess she'll be a natural ballerina!
