Stories of the week

"Twinkle Toes" This week Jenna learned how to pull herself up to a stand. She can take a few steps, then falls. I don't know how she gets that high on her toes!!


"Mommy Mine!"

I had Cadie all ready for school. I put a new dress on her with a matching bow. She usually complains about what she's wearing, unless she picks it out (girls...) anyway she didn't complain, she also thought she looked pretty cute. Until she saw me come out with my outfit on. She started screaming and yelling "I don't want to wear this!!" So I tried convincing her that she was so cute, but she wanted nothing to do with it. She ran back to her room and grabbed her shirt and jeans, held them up and said, "I want to be like Mommy!!" I couldn't resist how cute and determined she was to be like me. I had to have Ted take a picture of the moment :)

"Color Accents"

Something fun my friend Laura taught me about my camera, is that there is a function where you can accent certain colors, and the rest of the photo is black and white. I had some fun this week taking pictures. One thing I noticed though, is whenever I accent red the photo is usually blurry, but any other color the picture is clear. I need to figure out how to make it not blurry, because I LOVE red accents!

This picture pretty much sums up our weekend! ( I accented green in this photo...it's kind of hard to tell, but look at the beer bottles)
