Over the weekend we went to San Diego and had a great time. The weather was sunny, mid to upper 70's, and just perfect. The main reason we went was to go to the OTL tournament which some of us played in (Ted) and some of us were spectators (me). But the other days we were there were amazing too. We got there Thursday and hung out in Pacific Beach while we waited for the rest of our group to get in. We ate at the Shore Club and embarrassed ourselves while singing very loudly and drinking our fair share of adult beverages. Friday while the group was setting up and practicing on the island, my friend Megan and I went back to PB. We had a great "Girl's Day". We went shopping, ate sushi (we found a restaurant that serves little boats of sushi, and when they float by, you just pick what you want- so cute!), and worked on our tans at the beach. Saturday was a blast! Megan and I got to the island at about 10:30 and walked around for about a half an hour before we could find the boys. We just missed their game (which they won) but we made up for it by bringing beer (lots of beer) and Jack in the Box. The island was, as usual, very interesting! I took some pictures, but most of them are not appropriate for this site. I am just proud to say that I actually walked off the island without getting "sick" this year!
